Privacy: Google Stores Your Internet Searches Forever

When you type a few search words into the Google search box, Google saves each and every one of your search activities.  While some degree of anonymity is achieved (your name and address are not attached to the searches), this personal information can be easily obtained by peeling back some of the layers once your IP address is obtained from your Internet Service Provider (ISP).

There are no requirements obligating Google to maintain your search efforts, and virtually the only entities entitled to the information would be law enforcement.  However, should a scenario ever come to pass, in which an individuals'  internet searches need to be uncovered to be scrutinized in a court of law, it is possible for authorities to obtain the information.

There is growing concern about the ability for private companies to gather and keep such detailed and personal information that our government legally forbidden to maintain.
