Virtual Addiction: New Study Shows American College Students Hooked On Internet

No surprise here.

Researchers at the University Of Maryland recently conducted a study of 200 college students who were asked to quit using all forms of media for 24 hours.  Many of the students showed computer addiction symptoms with various signs of withdrawal, including anxiety, cravings and the inability to concentrate.

The biggest complaint made by the students related to their inability to send text messages, instant messages, email or access Facebook.
