This week, a new law which takes strong action against cyberbullying went into effect in New Hampshire, thanks to the state's Governor John Lynch. The law requires training for school administrators about
cyberbullying and forces school officials to report any bullying behavior they may witness. Citing cases in which bullying victims skip school (which, among other things, directly affects their learning), Governor Lynch emphasized that bullying of any kind cannot be ignored.
“We know it occurs in most grades but we’re sending a clear message of zero tolerance—that we won’t allow bullying,” said Governor Lynch. “We must send a clear message that bullying in any form won’t be tolerated.”
