CyberBullying: Bullying Moms on the Rise

News sources have coined a new term: “mean girls grown up.” That’s because mommy bloggers are engaging in cyber-bullying lately. “Good Morning America” recently aired a segment on moms who blog, tweet and text negativity, all at the expense of other moms. For example, a working mom was deemed “selfish,” and a mother who shared her bed with her kids was called “irresponsible.”
New Jersey mother of two, Norie Pereira, was shocked to read critiques about her parenting skills after she posted online about her daughter who recently endured cyber bullying of her own.
