Community Seminars Offer Parenting Tools

Internet Safety seminarToday’s teenager faces dangerous day to day struggles in the wake of a tech-savvy world.  Now, several non-profit agencies and schools across the country are offering seminars and workshops for parents about modern parenting challenges.  Many of these seminars are designed to educate parents about some of the dangers their kids may face today, including cyber-bullying, sexting and unsafe social networking.  The hope is that parents will learn new tools to help teach internet safety for kids about why high-risk behaviors like these should be avoided.
